Ahead of the 2022 MotoAmerica season, Pure Attitude Racing is pleased to announce that Todd Scott will join them in capacity of mechanic within the Twins Cup. He will also be on hand to support Chase Black within the Junior Cup should the need arise.

Todd joins the team with six years’ experience of working within the motorcycle industry and brings an enthusiasm and dedication shared by everyone within the Pure Attitude Racing team.

In addition to his role on the spanners, Todd will receive training and guidance throughout the 2022 season, the aim to further develop his own personal skillset which it is hoped will allow him to reach his own career goals.

Todd’s appointment is also important for Pure Attitude Racing’s academy program with further announcements being made in relation to this part of the team in the coming days.

Dean Standish – Pure Attitude Racing Team Owner:
“We are delighted that for 2022 we have been able to expand our team off track and welcome Todd Scott to the Pure Attitude Racing family. I love Todd’s enthusiasm. He is a young mechanic and very eager to learn. One of the most important things for me is that he is so ready to be part of our program for the long haul, and this is so important as we continue to grow and expand. He will primarily work with Liam MacDonald, and I am confident that together they will have a great working relationship which will bring the results that we know Liam and the team both are capable of and deserve. I think he will be big asset for Pure Attitude Racing and for our academy program for the coming season and for years to go.”

Todd Scott:
“Racing is my passion. I have worked in the industry for 5-6 years, primarily on custom bikes but have been working on my own stuff for much longer. I started working on bikes through my love of Café Racers and full faired sports bikes and my love for modern racing grew from there. Watching MotoGP, World Superbike and MotoAmerica, being part of a race team was something I set my focus on. I loved seeing all the techs and paddock staff celebrating after a race and knew that was something I wanted too. I reached out to Pure Attitude Racing and spoke to Dean and Michael, and it went from there. I love what Pure Attitude Racing is trying to do and the vision they have not just for their own team but for the sport and I am proud to be joining them and playing my part in what I know will be a competitive season. I want to look back when I am older and be able to say that I played a small role in bringing home wins, podiums and hopefully a MotoAmerica title. I want to thank Dean for trusting me and I can’t wait to meet Liam and Trevor and get started.”
